Do you offer in-house jewelry repairs? We can perform many small repairs in-house, but most of our repairs are picked up and dropped off by a local goldsmith who has a studio off-site.
-
How long do repairs typically take?Local repairs typically take 2 to 3 weeks, unless parts need to be ordered. More specialized repairs that need to be sent to our custom goldsmith can take up to 8 weeks.
-
Do you manufacture custom jewelry?Yes we do! We can manufacture a piece using pre-existing parts or we can create something completely from scratch, either with new stones or utilizing stones from clients' pieces.
-
What makes a piece of jewelry "estate"?Estate jewelry is any jewelry that has been pre-owned. It can be modern or antique. Some estate pieces we offer are less than 5 years old while others are over 100 years old.
-
Do I need an appointment to sell jewelry? No appointments are necessary between 10:00am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, but if you have a large amount of pieces to sell, a phone call beforehand is always appreciated.
-
Do you accept estate jewelry on consignment? It completely depends upon the piece. If it is a statement piece that we feel we can sell for significantly more than we could pay you outright, we will absolutely consider consignment.
-
Do you offer a warranty on your pieces? All new pieces we sell come with a limited one-year manufacturer's warranty. Though we thoroughly inspect all of our estate pieces before we put them out for sale, we cannot offer a warranty on any previously owned jewelry. We highly recommend you consider privately insuring any piece with a retail value over $1,000.
-
Do you offer financing? We do not offer financing through our store. In lieu of financing, we offer customers the option of leaving a piece on layaway in-store. Placing a piece on layaway requires a 20-50% deposit, and, as long as monthly payments are made, is interest-free for up to one year.
-
Do you offer watch repair? We offer watch battery replacement and band replacement/adjustment on-site.
-
Do you purchase coins? We no longer purchase coins. We recommend contacting Northampton Coin Exchange at 610-262-0759, option 2, for any information relating to coins, currency and bullion.
